New England NightMare Win Home Opener
The rain stopped, and the sun even managed to shine through for part of the New England NightMare home opener against the Maine Rebels.

Led by quarterback Hype Howard, and running back Shanice Wheeler, the NightMare offense moved the ball well all game. A first year player, Wheeler did it all for the NightMare. Besides running for chunks of yards seemingly on every carry, Wheeler made several key blocks, one against a much bigger defensive lineman with eyes on the quarterback. On defense, Wheeler made several tackles and helped disrupt the Rebels offense.
If this is her first game, in her first year, I can't wait to see what kind of player Wheeler develops into.
It was an impressive win for the NightMare. The offense was able to move the ball through the air, and on the ground. The defense spent most of the day in the Rebels' backfield.
Come out next Saturday to see the defending champions, the Montreal Blitz, take on the 1-0 Nightmare.
